In the poem Because I Could Not Stop For Death it seems to me that the author is reliving parts of life while on earth as a living human being.Once that she has died she is able to relive some of her memories on earth before her death. Now that death has finally come Dickenson is trying to say what she thinks death and the here after would be like to her Does anyone else feel the same way about this poem?
