I think that the meaning of a poem is so over-rated. I feel that most of the time the meaning is not what is important, but the feelings induced when reading it. If you have no specific feelings when you read a poem, then that poem is meaningless to you. You should not spend your time trying to analize a poem. That is not what poetry is about. You should move on until you find meaning in something else. Emily Dickinson makes this point in something she wrote about poetry. It is not in the book, but they did touch on it in the video.
