The poem The Fish was very good. The fish which was caught had already escaped death five times. However, when it was caught this time it did not put up a fight. The poem discribes how weathered and beaten this fish was. Perhaps the reason the fish did not struggle this time is because it has lived a full life and is content now to die. But the fisherman has enough repect for what the fish has endured that he releases it to die in peace.
