    Darla in the poem Reapers it does somewhat make a person feel as though they are nothing but a common rat I agree with you I don't usually feel sorry for creatures like that as I am generally afraid of them but in this one it really makes a person feel sorry for the animal Maybe it is because I can sort of relate to what the author is trying to say maybe that is the way we feel at times like a common rat. and also that no one really seems to care.
