In Keats' letter to John Taylor (on page 833), he makes the following statement. Keats says, "That if Poetry comes not as naturally as the Leaves to a tree it had better not come at all." Does he mean that all poets shouldn't have to try to come up with an idea or does he mean that they should know exactly what words to write in a poem from the first, with no corrections? Is this how all the Romantic poets felt or just Keats?
