To His Coy Mistress, what I really liked about this poem was its structure. I mean first you have him opening by saying that if you had all the time in the world it would be O.K. to be coy. Oh sure!, if we had all the time in the world I'd love you 'til the Flood comes. Then in his next stanza Marvell states, "But we don't have all the time in the world and you're not getting any younger. You know, after your dead that's it. No more love for you." But the great part is the conclusion where Marvell ends by stating that, since we don't have much time you had better love me while you can and if we are to waste our time we should at least waste it together. I can buy that.
