    Quote of the week: John Dryden, "An Essay of Dramatic Poesy"; "...wit is best conveyed to us in the most easy language...". I believe he is saying that a lot of authors use language and wit in their work that is often to advanced for the majority. Only a minority of people are actually understanding the witicism they are displaying. He is saying that they should put it in more general terms so that everyone, regular people and intellectuals, can enjoy the humor they are displaying.
