    Being from the South, I take great pride in my home and it's heritage. I believe that the South is often the subject of various sterotypes and many of them are not favorable. I feel that the South I know and have grown up in is very mainstream and not behind on ideas or concepts as many seem to think. I would like to know how Southern politics has changed in the past 20 years and also how it will be expected to change as we prepare to enter the next century.
