Southern politics have affected us students in many different ways by challenging us to participate in firey debates to coersing others to vote in order to meet our demands. Politics are much more different in the south by the chances of a female or Afro-American getting elected because in the south we are generally accustomed to having prejudice and believing women are inferior to men. Slavery was always a big issue in the south and there are still people in today's society that believe that Afro-Americans are just not apart of our customs and should not be a part of our political system. Now days Blacks are growing stronger and stronger together and they are expressing themselves in the South much better than ever. But I believe that still the Southern White Caucasian is believed to be the supreme political figure of the south. Comment back.
