    I don't know much about politics or how Southern politics differ, but I think that it will be a long time before we get a significant number of Blacks and women as major politician, just by the way the South is structured. I could be wrong, but it seems that many politicians are still roughly of a certain higher status group, such as businessmen and relatives of politians. And as an additional comment, the South might have its set of problems, but I still think it's a great place to live; it has its own set of values and ways.
