    This is in response to Ty Garner's comment about African-Americans and women in the south being inferior to whites, I agree strongly with your point of view. I feel that as long as we see ourselves as inferior then that is the position where we will remain. Yes, African-Americans are gaining recognition due to togetherness but also because we are atronger than before. We have realized that are skin is not a problem but rather a form of pride. A pride in the sense of knowing that we are somebody.
