    I agree with the comments made by Constance and Ty. Women and minorities (not just blacks) have struggled all their lives to become equal. We have come an extremely long way from no opportunity to opportunity. Because of our accomplishments we have the right to run for any office. But being in the world we are in our opportunity and hopes are shattered by racism and the shallowness of people today. Equality in politics is not just a Southern problem it is an national problem. Instead of just talking about it who is willing to make a change?
