Some of y'all have been saying that the only flag that is flown when an act of hatred is performed, is the Confederate flag. I completely disagree with that. Have you not seen ppl burn the American Flag, or commit violent acts while flying the American flag? Or is it ALL the Confederate flag's fault??? Oh, and if I were to cuss a minority out while waving the American flag in their face, it would be OK..... but if I were to cuss the same minority out while flying a Confederate flag, it is suddenly horribly wrong..... I must be an ignorant fool since I waved the Confederate flag. Well, I don't think so! Both the American and Confederate flags stand for basically the same thing.... freedom!! And when someone wants to express themselves, they have the right to hold up a symbol of freedom, either Confederate or American. Also, I have no desire for the "old south to rise again" as Jeremy claimed I did. As a matter of fact, I have never met anybody who has that desire... sorry, Jeremy... I am not the close-minded ignorant fool you claim me to be simply because I feel that ppl have the right to fly the Confederate flag. I have no bitterness to the North, only to those who keep calling me ignorant for no reason. People who claim that the South is still bitter are the ones who do the most damage. You should accept the fact that we can fly any stinking flag we want to, whenever we want to. It doesn't mean we are rebels or racists and it doesn't mean we are insane when we fly a Confederate flag. We are just exercising a right that has been granted to us by the American Government.
