I am not a big political buff. I pay attention to the presidental race, but since I can't vote that is about it.
So here are my resposes to a few of the questions at the beginning.
I think a black senator will come out of the South within the next eight years, but another governor will take a few more years.
On the subject of local politics, I believe the majority of people rank them right behind presidental issues.
I would also like to responsed to the issue that seems to be drawing the most attention, the confederate flag.
The confederate flag is a symbol of southern heritage that has been degraded and turned into a symbol of hate by those who don't know its true meaning or don't care what it means.
Despite this, the idea of outlawing or banning it is ridiculus. The people who propose this are just stirring up yet another disagreement between whites & blacks and the North & the South.
