Today in our University Scholars class a very interesting point was made. It is different from what is currently being discussed at this site, but I believe that it is a good topic for discussion. It seems that the South is much more based on religion than other regions of our nation. Attending church seems like more of an expression of social status than an act of worship. I am interested in hearing everyone's comment on the religious aspect of Southern Culture.
