There is no doubt in my mind that the south is more than the best place in the world to live, it is God's greatest creation for decent people. After all, where else in the world can you ask someone a question and not get a nasty look. Then there is always the humor that you will find in the south. Suthern humor is rarely a joke or punch-line. It is more often a story about what we have done or have seen others do. Care for an example? Where else in the world can you have a friend tell you about the time that his grandfather came up to him and said, "I just put a new roll bar on the tractor. You wanna test it for me?" And my friend did! "I just got it rolling down a hill, then cut the wheel as hard as I could. That roll bar worked real well!" Where else but the south can you walk down the streets of a major city and hear music in the air, or stroll along in the country and still hear the same music. And last, and certainly not least, where else but the south can you use the word "y'all" and not get stared at? I couldn't leave the south if I tried!
