I have found that the funniest thing about the South is the way a rural town communicates within itself. Since I have lived in a small town my whole life, I have grown up in a town where everyone knows everything about everyone. It is really amazing how a piece of news can reach the ears of all the people in a town within a matter of hours. If you did something wrong at school in the morning, you can be sure that your parents and everyone in a fifteen mile radius will know about it in the afternoon.
