After reading the above letters of the various people from all over the country and their views of southern people I thought that I would add my two cents worth. I have lived my whole life in the south. I have visited the north and several foreign countrys and no place can top the overall hospitality of people in the south. People sometimes get caught up in lifes daily turmoil and don't stop to realize the true values of life. Being from a small community where everyone knows their neighbors and stops to visit and helps each other when in need, means an awful lot. Its not about how much you have or you don't, its being able to live life to its fullest everyday. Its not about color or nationality its about you and the way you see things and the way your heart feels for other people. So the next time you visit the South take time to stop and look around before you judge someone. People from the South have some of the biggest hearts that you will find anywhere.
