Okay, I know that St. Louis (where I am from) isn't really that far North of here, but anyone who has ever been there, which I am sure most people have, can easily admit that the atmosphere is totally different than what you find here in Martin. And obviously that has alot to do with the size of the city. But I am just getting at the way people treat each other, etc. I have to admit that I have never been asked "How I was doing?" in passing, so many times before I moved here last year. I am not saying that people in St.Louis don't care, but only your close acquaintances would ever ask you how you were. Here, someone you may have talked to once, even a total stranger for that matter, would ask how you were doing. I definitely have to agree that Southerns are generally more hospitable. As far as the accents are concerned, they don't bother me. And yes, people up North may make fun of Southerns for their infamous "Ya'll" and "Fixin'" but I have found myself being made fun of for saying "You Guys" and any other "Yankee"-sounding word. Oh yeah, one more thing, GO RAMS!!!!!!!
