Well, I must say that I don't believe that the South will lose its culture(s) as long as there are Southerners here to carry on the tradition. The South is a land rich in tradition, from our so-called "lazy days" (which I still do not see as truly lazy) to our Southern hospitality. Andy Griffith and the Dukes of Hazzard will still be watched. And, the South will still have its distinctive Southern accent, don't yall agree? But, technology will start to make subtle changes to our culture. For instance, agriculture, which has already been affected by improvements such as No-till, will continue to improve in productivity. The South will change, but the people--the heart of Southern Culture--will hold on to our traditions.
