The South is strong of people who firmly believe in their family's morals and good upbringing. We are all known for our "soul food" as the black community calls it and we are proud of it because that's who we are. Agriculture is an extremely stressful job for farmers. The amount and quality of the crops produced relies on the weather, which changes all the time. Technology will continue to improve for agriculture to flourish. Farmers can't keep getting the short-end of the stick or the South will change by the year 2100. That change in Southern agriculture will influence the whole country, not just us. It is safe to say that many people are dependent on the crops produced in our neck of the woods, so there isn't a thing wrong with being Southern. I hope that nothing changes because I love our little world of grits and barbeque.
