    One thing that I hope will change about the South is how the rest of the country views us. They see us as being uneducated, incestuous, bigots. This is hardly the case. Not everyone has five cars on blocks in their front yard and dates their cousin. One thing that I hope is not lost in the future is the Southern people's manners, gentility, and way of speaking. These traits are what I believe truly define the South.
