The South will go under a complete makeover in the next Century. The south that I am familiar with such as, the small towns and peacefulness will be transformed into small cities. This is already happening in some towns with the addtion of more tightly constructed neighborhoods. Normally a house in the country has a fairly big and spaceful yard, but the new homes are being made just like the ones you will find in the city. More neighborhoods means more people, more people means more stores, more stores means more traffic, more traffic means more stop lights, more stop lights mean the demand for more road space. Yes, the quiet as I once knew it will never be the same.
