    I was looking on this site called Southern Music net it had a lot of different sites for different time periods. I looked on the 1990s and saw Erykah Badu and a lot of different artists also. It was talking about how she changed the spelling of her name from Erica Wright to Erykah Badu because she felt like that was a slave name. The Badu came from a word that she uttered repeatedly in her head. She has a good head on her shoulders her music can reach anyone and everyone that listens to it.
