    i am not saying anything bad against rap, because i like it also, i just think it depends on how the song is sung and the adjectives they use in them, when compared to rap it is more upbeat and they don't use the adjectives that sound so depressing, but think about it , is it not depressing to hear about someone getting shoot and their kids dying from gang wars, but the rap artists just make it sound more appealing, personaly i like both of them but if you really sit back and think about they are both depressing
