    I, too, agree that you cannot judge Elvis by what he done with his music style. He had failures just like everyone else. I don't like every thing he done to himself in the latter years, but I wasn't in his shoes. As for the rap issue, I don't listen to that much. I can't make much of a stand on the lyrics. Is it that bad? I don't like country music as a rule. But there's always a good country song to pop up at me sometimes. I particularly like George Strait. I don't listen to everything he produces. But I do keep an open mind. I do believe that country music has lost some of its sound of the South, it is less Southern now than it was.
