    The term "Southern Music" is a very hard term to define because people have different tastes in music. When I personally think of Southern music, I think of country music. Performers such as Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks come immediately to mind. I have also always associated the sound of the fiddle with the South. Although, I am not sure why I do this. I think that Southern music is what people living here enjoy listening to. For me this would be pop, country, alternative, and rock music. I believe that Southern music is unique to every individual based on their opinions.
