    While growing up my parents each had there own style of music they enjoyed listening to. My mother was a country music fan and my father was more on the rock and roll side. When I hear the words "Southern Music", I seem to think of country music and the Grand Ole Opry. I think of Nashville, Tennessee as the center of country music. However, I seemed to have takem my father's side. I enjoy rock and roll and alternative bands more than country music as a whole. There are several country songs that I like that are played by different country musicians. I enjoy songs by Lonestar, Garth Brooks, Hank Williams Jr., etc. As a whole I just enjoy rock and roll better.
