    I like southern music, but I haven't really understood why it's taking up a whole week. I went to the speaker who talked about Elvis and it wasn't what I was expecting. It was a wonder academic speech, but most of the students found it dull. I feel who ever is organizing this event needs to get more inlined with the students want and like. Otherwise it's pointless to have it. I'm all for learning that's why I'm in college, but activities that involve student's freetime should be more interesting. The Elvis speaker did a wonderful job. But he shouldn't have been required to give an academic speech. I think if it had been more of his own style it would have been more pleasing to the students. But what do I know? I'm just a student.
