    I do not understand why everyone is so hung up on Elvis. He was a great singer and all of that, but I don't think that he was great enough to be called the king of rock and roll. There were many artists who were just as good as he was if not better. For instance, Carl Perkins, he is the man who wrote "Blue Suede Shoes" not Elvis as some people believe. In fact Elvis never wrote more than one or two of his own songs. I think that he just gets too much credit.
