Memphis, Tennessee is known for alot of things: Bar-B-Q, the Mississippi river, Beale Street, Graceland, and Southern hospitality. But, one of its best known treasures is the music. From Elvis Preasly to B.B. King, music is definatly part of this southern city. Being a Memphis native, I have grown up listening to this type of music and now find myself enjoying it. New Orleans has some of the best music that I have heard. I can remember being a little girl sitting atop my fathers shoulders for hours outside of the Preservation Hall waiting to get in. When we finally get in, the whole room is filled with a musty aroma of wood and sweat, and is mixed with time and memories. It has such character and people come from all parts of the world to experience it.
