When I think of Southern music, I think of bluegrass. I can imagine my father sitting outside with his radio on. I can hear the music flowing out the speakers as my father softly humms to the music. I hear the banjo strumming, and a lady with a country accent singing. "Bluegrass is part of your family," my father says with a smile. Bluegrass has always been a part of the south and always will be. People think that all country music is sad, but I guess they have never listened to Bluegrass. In bluegrass a person will hear yodaling or a fiddle. Most song are not depressing, but up lifting. Take the time out to hear one song, it may change your mind about country.
