    It seems to me that the faster pace of the 20th and 21st centuries has changed the Southern family. We believe in extended families, so now it has become easier to communicate through the internet with relatives anywhere. It is cheaper and faster and several relatives can talk at one time. I think that this fast paced world has not only changed the Southern Family, but it has improved it as well.
