I've lived in both the north and the south and even though I haven't lived in Tennessee very long, it seems as though the families in the south are a lot closer than the families in the north. As a whole, it seems more people in the north have lost touch with their families than the people in the south. Southern families are known for their closeness and are usually large families that depend on each other.
