People think of many different things when they think of the south. But one thing that my dad and I do along with most of the people on Hester Beasley Road (where I call home) is "truck leaning". Yes, I said "truck leaning". I know it sounds very redneck, maybe because it is very redneck but "truck leaning" is where you lean on a truck and talk to people. I have been doing this with my dad and other people on my road for as long as I can remember. This is definitly not something that goes on in the northern part of the country. I think "truck leaning" is a great thing because its where my dad and I can catch up on things because even though we live in the same house we don't talk as much as we should.
