Southern families have changed a lot over the past century. Families in the south are dealing with a faster paced life than there was in the 18th and 19th centuries. Not as many families sit down together for supper anymore or just spend quality time with one another. I feel that the values that were once represenative of the southern family are dwindling away over time.
