I have always lived in the South, therefore, I am not that familier with the customs of families elsewhere. My family is very close to one another like many of the families around my hometown. We always get together whenever we can to spend time with one another and sit down for supper. My family is not huge like southern families were a couple of centuries ago, but I do not mind because I always have someone to talk to and someone who wants to listen. People from the south seem to be more laid back and always ready to listen unlike people from other parts of the world. The southern pace of life is a little slower and calmer.
