Southern families are not entirely different from other families, but I believe that they
have a stronger bond between them than most. That bond generally causes them to do
things differently than the majority of families. I happen to be apart of a southern family,
and we are extremely close to one another. My entire family frequently spends a lot of
time together. We generally spend every Sunday afternoon together after church and we
have dinner together. We usually spend time with one another during the holidays and
other special events. On occasion we go on trips together. My family alone is one of the
reasons why I feel that southern families have a strong bond.
