When you speak about southern cultures I believe that you are talking about dieing generations of families that are losing their heritages. I am from the south and I also have lived here all my life. I have known and heard stories from two generations in my family alone. From comparing the stories to what I see and how I live now I know that out heritage of southerners is being lost. The main cause for this is the modernization of the world as a whole, even in the deep woods of the south. I have heard stories all my life about the ties and friendships that my great grandparents have shared with me. The times are changing as week speak and have taken moderate turns in the last several decades.
