    I grew up in the south, so family is very important in my life. Every week I go home to spend time with my family as much as possible. My grandparents are getting older and I have a sick aunt, so it is very important to treasure the time that I get to spend with them. Growing up in the south was great to me. Some of my favorite memories were the good home cooking(grandma's is the best), listening to the elders tell stories, and living in the countryside where you could get away running around barefooted. I think I would be lost if I grew up in the northern states plus we have better weather than they do.
