I was born and raised in Tennessee. I have moved one time and that was right next door on some of my Grandfather's property. I don't know very much about northern families since I have always lived in the south and so has my family. My extended family is somewhat close, when they're not arguing about stupid things like whose house to have Thanksgiving dinner at, but my immediate family is very close and I treasure that more than anything. I couldn't imagine growing up anywhere but in the south and in a small town. Having your dad coach your t-ball team, going to the fair with your family, going to Opryland 2 or 3 times a summer, and swimming in creeks, while you're careful to watch for snakes, are just some of the experiences I might have never had not growing up in the south and I think experiences like this have made me the person I am today, southern accent and all,and I wouldn't trade that for anything.
