    The ties that bind a family together are often overlooked or taken for granted. The first is obviously the blood relationship. Then there are family events, such as holidays, birthdays, sit down dinners, and vacations. Also there are shared family interests like, church, sports, and hobbies. The bonds of love and sentimentality could also be considered to be family ties.
