    I feel that a Southern woman is a woman born and raised in the south. They are women who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty with everyday work, but, of course, there are many women not from the South who fall into this description. One thing that sets them apart is the accent. Accents set everyone apart but there is a major difference between anywhere and the South. I also believe that women in the South are usually more genial. They are there to wait on everyone hand and foot and not utter a complaint about it. I don't fall into this category but I'm still a Southern woman. I think through the years ideas about Southern ladies have changed because we are living in the nineties. Women are told to go chase men and let them wait on you. I find nothing wrong in this but it does tamper with the idea of Southern ladies. Southern ladies wer
