Being from the South, one can not help, but having a preconceived notion of the Southern lady. A lady differs from a woman in several key ways. Simply being of the female gender classifies one to be a woman, but a lady requires sometthing special and unique. The Southern lady is falling to the wayside in the search for independence from the male-dominated society in which we live. The Southern lady has the ability to capture the romance, admiration, respect and love of any man woman or child that she comes in contact with.
