When someone speaks of a southern women I think of a lady who is very kind. She is humble, gentle, and modist. Alot of people think of the character in Gone With the Wind, Scarlett O'Harea, but to me its more like Scarlett's best friend.(It's been a while since I seen the movie so I forgot her name.) I don't believe you have to be rich to be a lady. Money has nothing to do with it. It's your character that makes you a lady, or gentleman. In the South character is an important lesson taught early. It's another part of our Southern heritage that I'm proud of. And as long as we had outstanding festivals like these that heritage will never die out.
