When I think of southern Women, I think of my grandmothers. Both of my grandmothers are emotionaly strong, giving, tale tellers, and they both grow and cook their food. They have raised children in hard times, and they have help raise the grandchildren. They can dress up and become as beautiful as any women their age and yet they get out bed early enough to cook breakfast for everyone in the house. They make sure their house is always clean and tidy even though the men of the house work the land and come home very dirty. On Sundays they try and make sure all the family is at church and my grandmothers take pride in having everyone there and act without incident. Then on certain Sundays and holidays they would have a big meal for everyone and words of advice for those needed it.
