I have always thought of "Southern Women" as the Scarlet O'Hara type of woman, dainty, helpless and vain. Being a woman from the south, I never thought of myself as an actual Southern Woman, because I am not like that. Anne Firor Scott changed my mind about the stereo-typical southern woman at her lecture.
