The Bulletin Board is intended to be a discussion among the students enrolled in the A&P classes at UT-M.

The purpose of this feature is that, as every instructor knows, the best way to learn is to teach.

Students teaching other students will benefit all participants.

Even the simple act of articulating a question is of educational value to the student posing the question.

Students are welcome to read the bulletin board postings without participating; you may just learn something!

NOTE: the bulletin board discussions will be monitored by the A&P faculty. If necessary, the discussions will be edited (conversations unrelated to the A&P courses will be deleted, obscenities and discourtesies will be deleted - you get the idea). We would like for students to be the main contributors, but in the event that a question goes unanswered for a long time, or incorrect information is posted, we will eventually intervene.

• Students should post questions they have on subject matter, course policy, general classroom information, etc.

• Students should answer the questions they see posted - even if their answer is just a guess.

• Students may retain anonymity if they so choose, by typing a code instead of their name.

Instructions:

• After you have reviewed the instructions below, select the bulletin board link (above).

• You will be at a Welcome page. On this page, you will see the Contents list, which displays previous postings by subject. Click on the one you wish to read. If you want to contribute to any of the on-going conversations, click on the message of interest and select Reply* when you are ready to contribute.

• Also from the Welcome page, you may select either Post* or Search. Post allows you to start a new thread (topic of conversation). (Don't choose this if you really just want to reply to a previous message.) Search allows you to find all postings containing a particular word, e.g. "heart."

• The *Post and *Reply pages have a text box for you to enter your message. When you are finished, select the button Post Article (do not select Post page in the menu at the top). If you wish to start over without posting, select the button Reset Form and all your words will be erased.

• Home takes you back to the biolap homepage.

• The toolbar of your browser has a button to "Reload" or "Refresh" the page you are on - this will allow new messages to be seen that were posted after you went to that page, including anything that you recently posted.
