Clarinet Choir performs a broad depth of repertoire both on and off campus. This group specializes in 20th century repertoire, but feels equally comfortable performing transcriptions of standard orchestral repertoire. Recently, this ensemble performed at the Tennessee Music Educators Association in Nashville, TN.
The student Woodwind Quintet is a new ensemble at UTM. This ensemble is auditioned and rehearses twice a week, once with a faculty member present and at least once on their own. This ensemble rehearses and performs standard woodwind quintet literature.
The UTM Saxophone quartet is one of the top chamber ensembles on campus. Rehearsing 2-4 times per week, this group is made up of auditioned students who are dedicated to the rehearsal and performance of standard as well as'off-beat' saxophone quartet literature. This ensemble performs on and off campus multiple times a semester.
