This page targets UT Martin's Department of History & Philosophy (including International & Religious Studies) in its goal of providing a total educational experience by offering students opportunities to exercise leadership skills, to enhance their understanding of human behavior, to embrace tolerance, to clarify their own values, with the affirmation that the department's curricula provide the political, social, cultural, interdisciplinary, and international foundation necessary for responsible citizenship. Our aim is to aid the fulfillment of these goals through four categories of relevant links. First, however, the following locally maintained sites and pages represent scholarly, organizational and cocurricular efforts provided by the department's faculty:
The University of Tennessee at Martin Civil Rights Conference Series (Prof. Alice-Catherine Carls) The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy (Prof. Jim Fieser) Philosophical Films (Prof. Jim Fieser) Travel Study/Study Abroad (Prof. Stan Sieber) |
